Default home made food specifically for kittens

Ive seen a lot of recipes for cats, but not many for kittens. Ive heard that kittens require different things to full grown cats and cannot handle what they can. My kittens are 14 weeks old and the boy will try to eat anything he can, he has jumped onto the table when i wasnt looking and eaten onion, tomato, garlic, vegetables, anything! i just read these things are bad for them too, oops! i thought it would be nice to cook him something 'human' as he has shown an interest, but only occasionally and something that will be safe and healthy. Any ideas on what i could make for them?

Sorry, no idea. I always gave all my kittens dry & canned food for kittens only.

Yes, they have all the vitamins, proteins & minerals a cat or kitten needs. Also they contain something essential you cannot add to your home-made food: Taurine.

Stick to canned food specifically made for kittens. Your kitty also needs some food supplements like calcium, vitamin B or vitamin E. This site also has a Recipe Section, you can check that out.

Thanks for your replies

Krzeymaya, i dont quite understand what you mean when you say 'they need to grow up' but can i just clarify that I do not indulge them with human food thereby hindering their development, all i have ever fed them is whiskers kitten pouches and dry food. I simply wondered if it was ok to give them something else occasionally

Well, I wanted to say that kittens need more vitamins & proteins than an adult cat in order to grow up. In the human food you will never find
the amount of vitamins & proteins that a kitten needs for his development & something else very important: Taurine.
